CAHORS :
As a point raised on the horizon, the city of Cahors from the top of the Mont St Cyr appears from behind the clouds. Capital of the Lot department, Cahors is a must.
ST-CIRQ-LAPOPIE :
St-Cirq-Lapopie is elected in 2012 "favorite French village." A masterpiece that looks like a movie set where time seems not to have taken hold.
A few minutes drive from the village des Cigales, the Museum of Old Mechanical in Cazals takes you through the last century. From 1900 to nowadays, the whole evolution of the rural "Lotois".
Great wood, powerful bronzes, prints, photos, documents created by Ossip Zadkine are showed in the museum in his workshop by Arques. Temporary exhibitions of contemporary art are held seach summer from early July to late September.
